In the fourth quarter of 2020, the fitness and weight loss app category in France saw varied performance across top applications. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at how each app fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner, despite experiencing a decrease in weekly revenue from $5.5K to $2.8K, maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating around 400K to 470K. Downloads also saw a downward trend, starting at approximately 33K and ending the quarter at around 25K.

WeWard recorded no revenue but demonstrated a steady increase in weekly active users from 270K to 366K. The app's downloads peaked at 20K in mid-October before settling around 11K by the end of December.

Pedometer - Step Counter showed minimal revenue throughout the quarter, with a slight increase in the last week of December reaching $94. The app experienced a high of around 19K downloads in early November but ended the quarter with just over 11K. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, hovering around 200K.

Decathlon Coach - fitness, run, with no revenue reported, saw a significant spike in downloads to 21K in early November, but this number gradually declined to 13K by the end of December. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 68K in early November and decreasing to 64K by the year's end.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike ended the quarter on a high note, with revenue increasing from $16K to $18K and downloads rising from 5.8K to approximately 15K. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at around 260K and reaching over 320K by the close of December.
